Rack for office environment
Office storage racking that looks as tidy as your reception.
Clean white boltless racks for archive rooms, IT stores, pantry supplies and marketing materials — shallow enough for narrow rooms, installed after hours with no drilling.
- White powder-coated steel, no industrial look
- 40cm-deep options for corridors and small rooms
- No drilling — nothing to make good at lease end
The challenge
Offices store more than anyone planned for
Seven years of statutory records. Laptops waiting to be re-imaged. Event banners, brochures, a decade of Christmas decorations and a pantry that feeds forty people. In most offices it all ends up in one small room with a door that no longer closes.
A few well-planned bays of shelving solve it. Archive boxes stand in labelled rows by year, IT spares sit in tubs by type, and pantry stock is visible at a glance. Because the racks are freestanding, building management is happy and nothing is left behind when you move. Heavier technical stores — servers, tools, spares — are covered on our warehouse racking page.

Questions
Office racking questions
What kind of rack suits an office storage room?
For files, archive boxes, stationery and IT spares, the white boltless rack is the natural fit: it looks clean, it comes in shallow 40cm depths for narrow rooms, and 200kg per shelf is more than paper needs. Heavier equipment stores often use the warehouse rack instead.
Do you need to drill into the office walls or floor?
No. Our racks are freestanding and boltless, so there is no drilling, no dust and nothing to make good when your lease ends — which matters in a managed office building. We will advise if a particular run should be anchored for safety.
How many archive boxes fit on one shelf?
It depends on your box size. A standard archive box is roughly 40cm deep, so a 100cm × 40cm shelf usually takes three side by side, and a 120cm shelf takes three with room to spare or four slimmer boxes. Send us your box dimensions on the quote form and we will size the shelves.
Can you install outside office hours?
Yes. Evening and weekend installation is common for offices, and building management often requires it for deliveries through the loading bay. We include the timing in your quotation.
Can racks be moved when we relocate office?
Yes. Boltless racks come apart without tools and go up again at the new address. Our guide to office storage rack ideas includes tips for planning storage in a new office.
